The Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (“BTS”) has recognized the outstanding efforts of organizations and blood donors with the following awards: 

Rotary International District 3450 

• Elite Partnership Award 2025 
• Big Alliance Award – Bronze (100+ successful donors in one initiative) 

Rotary Clubs in Hong Kong 

• Small Alliance Award – Gold (150+ successful donors in group blood donation initiatives) 

During the Rotary Year 2024-25, approximately 450 individuals—including Rotarians, Rotaractors, and members of the Hong Kong community—participated in our district-wide blood donation campaigns. Over 320 of them successfully donated blood. 

This project is not only about promoting health—it also aims to enhance Rotary’s public image and foster deeper community engagement. Our goal is to amplify Rotary’s impact on blood donation efforts and raise awareness about the importance of donating blood. 

Looking Ahead 

The first blood donation initiative of the Rotary Year 2025-26 will be the Area 4 Joint Club Blood Donation Day on 1st July 2025 at the Mongkok Donor Centre. We encourage all Rotarians, Rotaractors, and community members to join this meaningful event and help kick off the new Rotary year with strong momentum.

Additionally, Rotary and Rotaract Clubs are invited to host your own Small-Group Blood Donation Campaigns throughout the year. Together, we can strengthen our collective impact and help save even more lives.
