For over a full year, the Rotarian Volunteer Network (RVN) has been actively involved, starting from the creation of a dedicated WhatsApp group on October 24, 2024, to coordinate volunteer projects for the 15th National Games. Special thanks to RIC Elaine for her support and liaison with the organizers. The entire process progressed smoothly—from the initial interviews, project trainings and the actual project participation.

Ultimately, we successfully selected 36 Rotary Volunteer Network members from a pool of 51 prospective volunteers to officially join the team. We were assigned to support the Triathlon event, which took place at the Central Harbourfront on November 15th and 16th. Although we had to arrive at the venue as early as 4:00 AM on the first day, all volunteers were full of energy. We truly appreciated the leadership of the volunteer leaders, which ensured the smooth and successful execution of the entire triathlon.

The most touching moment was cheering for the Macau team until the very last athlete crossed the finish line! 💪

Looking ahead, we hope the Greater Bay Area secures the opportunity to host the 2036 Olympic Games. If the bid is successful, we look forward to reuniting with everyone for this global spectacle and participating together once again!

足足一年有多，扶輪義工網絡（RVN)於2024年10月24日開咗個WhatsApp群組專門負責統籌第十五屆全運會的義工項目。多謝RIC Elaine 當中的支持及與主辦方聯絡。從最初的面試甄選，到項目培訓，通用實體訓練課程及實際項目參與，整個過程進展順利。

最終，我們成功由51位準義工至獲選的36位扶輪義工網絡成員正式加入義工團隊。我們獲委派負責鐵人三項，相關活動已於11月15日至16日中環海濱進行。雖然第一天要凌晨四點到達賽場，但是各位義工都充滿活力，也非常欣賞義工領袖們的帶領，令整個鐵人三項順利完成。

最感動是我哋為包尾的澳門隊嗌到最後！💪💪

展望未來，希望大灣區有機會成功申辦2036年奧運會。如果申辦成功，期待屆時與大家再次相聚，共同參與這項國際盛事！

Below are the recaps on the National Games Torch Relay and Triathlon.

*National Games Torch Relay*

On the morning of 2nd November 7 AM, we, Rotary Volunteer Network members (RVN), participated in the volunteer service for the National Games Torch Relay event. The weather was partly cloudy with comfortable temperature and occasional sunshine, creating a pleasant atmosphere for the event.

A total of 23 volunteers from our team joined the service, each assigned to different roles based on the event’s needs. Some volunteers formed a human chain to guide guests and torchbearers along the entry route to the venue, ensuring a smooth arrival. Others were responsible for distributing name tags to guests, completing the task efficiently with careful verification.

Despite the enthusiastic and lively atmosphere at the scene, all volunteers remained focused and steadfast in their posts. With dedication and teamwork, we successfully supported the smooth progress and completion of the torch relay. This experience not only deepened our sense of responsibility but also strengthened our bonds through collaborative service. We look forward to continuing to contribute to public welfare services and spreading warmth through practical actions, leverage the power of the RVN.

*全運會火炬傳遞活動義工服務*

11月2日清晨7時，我們扶輪義工網絡團義工們參與了全運會火炬傳遞活動的義工服務。當日天氣晴間乾爽，溫暖的陽光與輕柔的雲朵相伴，為活動增添了愜意氛圍。

本次服務共有23位扶輪義工網絡團義工夥伴攜手參與，我們依活動需求分配到不同崗位，各司其職、默契配合。部分義工組成人鏈，在嘉賓及火炬手的進場路線上提供引導服務，確保大家有序抵達會場；另有義工負責嘉賓名牌的分派工作，細緻核對信息、高效完成分發。

活動現場氣氛熱烈高漲，但全體義工始終保持專注嚴謹的態度，堅守各自崗位，以飽滿的熱情和負責的態度投入服務。這項義工服務不僅助力火炬傳遞活動順利圓滿完成，更讓我們在協作中收穫了成長與感動。未來，我們也將持續積極參與公益服務，以實際行動傳遞溫暖與擔當，發揮扶輪義工網絡團的力量。

*Volunteer Service for the Triathlon*

Our 2 days volunteer service starting from 15Nov 4:30am.   23 volunteers from the Rotary Volunteer Network fully engaged in the volunteer service for the Triathlon. On the first day, before dawn, the volunteers rushed to their posts, undertaking crowd control and access management in different areas. With meticulous execution, they ensured the smooth flow of all race routes and successfully wrapped up the day’s work under the rising bright sunshine. On the second day, the volunteers started their work in brilliant sunshine—some stuck to their original posts, while others joined the cheering team, with continuous cheers echoing to support the athletes. Everyone remained focused and dedicated throughout Over the two days, all volunteers persisted under the scorching sun, contributing passionate enthusiasm and practical actions to ensure the race’s smooth progress, finally concluding the service with reluctance. This experience not only enhanced our teamwork but also brought us a sense of responsibility and warmth through dedication, deepening our understanding of the volunteers’ cooperation and selfless devotion.

*三項鐵人比賽義工服務*

從11月15日清晨4時半開始了這兩天的全運會義工旅程。  扶輪義工網絡團23位義工這兩天全程參與三項鐵人比賽義務服務。首日天未亮，義工們便奔赴崗位，分別負責人流控制與區域進出管制，以細緻執行保障賽道路線暢通，在漸升的明媚陽光中圓滿結束當日工作。次日，燦爛陽光伴隨義工們開工，部分人堅守原崗，部分加入打氣團隊，現場歡呼聲此起彼伏支持運動員，大家始終專注值守、盡職盡責。兩日來，全體義工頂着烈日堅守崗位，以飽滿熱情與務實行動助力比賽順利推進，最終在依依不捨的心情中圓滿落幕。這次服務不僅鍛煉了團隊協作能力，更讓我們在奉獻中收穫了責任與溫暖， 更體會到義工們的合作及無私付出。
