Meet the Candidates
To help voters familiarize themselves with the candidates, we are organizing a Meet the Candidates session:

- Registration: A Google form was sent out for registration. Priority is given to club presidents, secretaries, assistant governors, and all those involved in the election administration.
The venue accommodates 100 attendees, so please register early as it will be first come, first served. The session will include presentations from each candidate and an open forum where they will respond to questions from the audience.
For our members in Macau and Mongolia, we welcome you to join via Zoom!
Voting System Explained
We will utilize a single transferable voting system due to the presence of more than two candidates. Here’s how it works:
1. Voters will rank the candidates in order of preference (1 to 4).
2. In the first round, the candidate with the lowest number of first preference votes will be eliminated.
3. Votes for the eliminated candidate will be transferred to the remaining candidates for the next round.
4. This process continues until a candidate secures a majority.
An explanatory note will accompany each ballot paper to clarify this procedure.
Important Conduct Reminder
We emphasize that there will be no campaigning, canvassing, or electioneering throughout this election process. We take these rules seriously to maintain the integrity of the election. If you notice any irregularities, please contact the District Election Committee immediately.
We encourage everyone to participate actively in this important electoral process. Your vote for the District Governor Nominee Designate is vital in shaping the future leadership of our district.
Thank you for your attention, and let’s make this election a success together!
