Rotary Volunteer Network (RVN) Service Report and Rotary Volunteer Award Deadline Extension.

Distribution of Air Purifiers to Wong Fuk Court (WFC) nearby Household

On December 27, 2025, and January 17, 2026, 60 volunteers from RVN and 4 from Medical Technologies Limited distributed approximately 520 air purifiers to residents of 廣禮樓 and 廣𧙗樓 — buildings evacuated during the recent WFC fire tragedy. Targeting a community with about 70% elderly residents, the project provided crucial support.

Volunteers assembled all units and conducted instructional sessions to ensure residents, especially seniors, could operate the devices effectively. Through three total distributions over two months, the initiative has now delivered around 560 air purifiers, making a tangible impact on indoor air quality and community well-being.

This meaningful outreach was made possible by the generous support of donor Medical Technologies Limited and the HKPHB Association, which provided the venue. Sincere thanks are extended to every volunteer whose dedication and hard work turned compassion into action, offering practical relief and care to affected households in a time of need.
