On January 31, 2026, we successfully held our second collaborative “Elderly Cleaning Day” with St. James’ Settlement — a meaningful service project to support elderly residents ahead of Chinese New Year.

Approximately 40 Rotarians and Rotaractors, together with friends from the community, came together to assist 12 elderly residents in the So Ku area(蘇屋邨). The team helped cleaning their homes, declutter living spaces, and create a brighter, more comfortable environment so they could welcome the Lunar New Year with renewed freshness and dignity.

Beyond the cleaning, we also delivered a special gift to each resident: a warm knitted hat generously donated by the Sai Kung district community centre, offering extra comfort during the colder days.

This heartwarming partnership once again demonstrated the power of collective service and community care.
