Pickleball Fellowship & Rotary Volunteer Awards Update

We’re excited to share highlights from our recent Pickleball Fellowship event, held on 24 May 2026 at an indoor pickleball venue at the Mega Box, Kowloon Bay. Thanks to RVN Fellowship Chair PP Issac Ip and Promotion Chair PP Annyee Chan, sixteen participants—including Rotarians, Rotary Volunteer Network members, family, and friends—came together for an afternoon of fun and connection.

PDG Andy opened the session by introducing Rotary and the Rotary Volunteer Network. Guests then enjoyed a one-hour professional coaching session, followed by an hour of free play. The gathering wrapped up with snacks and drinks, creating a relaxed atmosphere for sharing stories and building friendships. It was a wonderful example of fellowship through sport—many left not only with new pickleball skills but also with deeper connections across our Rotary family.

Rotary Volunteer Awards – Winners Selected

In other news, the Rotary Volunteer awards winners were selected on 26 March 2026 as reported in the May’s DG Newsletter. After careful deliberation, DG Cassy made the final decision based on the recommendations of six distinguished judges. The winners have now been invited to receive their awards at the upcoming District Conference on 31 May 2026.

By the time you read this newsletter, you already know who the winners are. We congratulate them wholeheartedly and thank everyone who took part in the nomination and selection process. Your dedication to service inspires us all.

Stay tuned for more fellowship events and volunteer opportunities into the Rotary 2026/27. Let’s keep building a vibrant, connected Rotary Volunteer Network!
