On October 19, 2025, Macau will host a heartwarming and energetic charity event — the End Polio Charity Walk & Run. Mainly led by the Rotary Club of Amizade, and hosted by the eight Rotary Clubs in District 3450 Area 1 , the namely Rotary Club of Macau, the Rotary Club of Hou Kuong, the Rotary Club of Macau Central, the Rotary Club of Guia, the the Rotary Club of Macau Islands, the Rotary Club of Penha, and the Rotary Club of Oriental Pearl, this event showcases the unity and commitment of Rotary clubs in promoting global health and community service.

Purpose of the Event

The primary goal of this charity walk is to support Rotary International’s global initiative to eradicate polio. Funds raised from the event will contribute to vaccination and medical support for nearly 3 billion children across 122 countries, helping protect them from the threat of poliomyelitis and ensuring a healthier future.

Expected Participation

The event is expected to draw around 500 participants and volunteers, including community members, corporate teams, students, and Rotary members. Whether walking or running, every step taken symbolizes support for children’s health worldwide.

2025年10月19日，澳門將迎來一場充滿愛心與活力的慈善盛事 ——「根除小兒麻痹慈善行歡樂跑」。本次活動由澳門友誼扶輪社主導，並由國際扶輪3450地區地域一八個扶輪社一同舉辦，分別是澳門扶輪社、澳門濠江扶輪社、澳門中區扶輪社、澳門松山扶輪社、澳門海島扶輪社、澳門西望洋扶輪社及東方明珠扶輪社，展現了扶輪社團結一致、攜手推動公益的精神。

活動宗旨

本次慈善行的核心目標是支持國際扶輪根除小兒麻痹症的全球行動。透過籌款，活動將為全球122個國家的近30億兒童提供疫苗接種與醫療支援，幫助他們遠離小兒麻痹的威脅，邁向健康未來。

預計參與人數

活動預計吸引約500位參與者與義工，包括社區居民、企業代表、學生及扶輪社成員。大家將以步行或跑步的方式參與，象徵對兒童健康的支持與關注。
