The District Vocational Service Committee was delighted to present its first activity, the “Explore Qianhai” tour, on August 2, 2025. Despite red and black rainstorm warnings in Hong Kong, our delegation was fortunate to encounter only light rain in Qianhai, allowing the event to proceed smoothly.

A group of 40 District Officers and Rotarians, including the DG Cassy, her two daughters, and DGN Frank, gained valuable insights into Qianhai’s latest development plans, preferential policies for Hong Kong residents, and national support measures. The tour was a fantastic opportunity to explore new avenues for Shenzhen-Hong Kong collaboration.

Itinerary

Qianhai International Talent Hub(前海國際人才港): The first stop provided an overview of national incentives for Hong Kong businesses and specific measures encouraging youth from Hong Kong and Macao to pursue entrepreneurship and employment in mainland China.

Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation & Entrepreneur Hub (深港青年夢工場展廳中心): We learned how this incubation platform has become a crucial springboard for Hong Kong youth, having successfully nurtured 1,303 startup teams. The Shenzhen Qianhai Enterprise Integrity Promotion and Regulation Association also shared insights on building a world-class, integrity-based business environment.

Shenzhen Huasheng Shuzi Multimedia Co. Ltd. (深圳市花生數字多媒體有限公司): After lunch, we visited this renowned tech company, a comprehensive provider of immersive themed experiences. They showcased their proprietary RPG – Hyper-Spatial Convergence technology, which creates surreal, interactive worlds across their core segments: Digital Themed Exhibitions, Tech-Enabled Cultural Tourism, and VR Innovative Applications.

Bao’an Low-Altitude Economy Exhibition Hall (寶安低空經濟產業展示中心)The final stop provided a fascinating glimpse into the future of transportation and logistics. Rotarians explored Bao’an District’s ambitious pilot projects, which form a critical part of Qianhai’s strategy to become a global hub for the low-altitude economy. The exhibition detailed advancements in drone logistics delivery networks designed for urban environments, showcasing how they can increase efficiency and reduce road congestion. Furthermore, we observed integrated land-sea-air unmanned systems, demonstrating a cohesive ecosystem where drones, autonomous vehicles, and marine vessels operate in synergy. This comprehensive showcase highlighted the cutting-edge research, regulatory frameworks, and industrial partnerships that are positioning Qianhai at the forefront of this revolutionary technological field.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving Rotarians with a deeper understanding of the innovative momentum driving Qianhai’s development.
