On 9 August 2025, over 100 Rotarians united for good in the DMS to enrich best practices on membership growth through a well-designed seminar with inspirations and practical take-aways.  Early in the morning, speeches from DG Cassy CHENG, ARMC Andy LI and PDG Eric CHAK equipped participants with informative data, findings and knowledge on Rotary from Club level all the way to Rotary International level.  Some of the highlights included that: 1) DG Cassy encouraged synergies with Innovations, Continuities and Partnerships for strengthening Rotary Clubs as “the best qualified team of volunteers on earth;” (2) ARMC Andy LI roused Rotarians to grow their Rotary Clubs through unique characteristics to be a champion; and (3) PDG Eric CHAK updated membership data from Rotary International District 3450 and introduced various methodologies for membership growth.

With the emphases established, the remainder of the DMS was filled with panel discussions and breakout sessions for cultivation on net membership growth for Rotary Clubs.  Numerous Rotarians, from accomplished Rotary Clubs, shared wisdom and perspicacity on topics which included: (1) Rebuilding Stronger: Revitalizing Struggling Clubs; (2) Rotary Action Plan – Review & Update being a Vibrant Club; (3) Explore Three Membership Pathways: Passport, Caused-Based & Corporate; (4) Charting New Courses: Satellite Club as Growth Engines; and (5) Founders’ Perspective: District 3450 Charter Presidents.

After a fruitful day of growth for Rotary’s membership, attendees were challenged with a Kahoot Game followed by closing remarks from DG Cassy CHENG and PDG Eric CHAK.  Grateful to enthusiastic Rotarians for sustainable membership growth, as well as engagement to explore adaptation for reach and impact.
