The Charter President Academy commenced on the evening of 17 September 2025 with great enthusiasm from 11 participants. Governor Cassy CHENG and Past Governor Eric CHAK delivered insightful presentations covering various aspects of Rotary, including its development over the past century, membership trends in our Zone and District, the impact of The Rotary Foundation both locally and globally, and practical applications of the Rotary Action Plan to help participants familiarize themselves with their journey ahead. 

Additionally, District Secretary Path TONG, who is also the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Butterfly Valley, shared his inspiring journey of chartering a Rotary Club. He discussed topics such as membership recruitment, service initiatives, and public image building. 

Before the evening concluded, participants engaged in group activities, brainstorming ideas for establishing a Rotary Club with a unique identity that would appeal to prospective Rotarians.
