On September 13, 2025, Rotary District 3450 Area 1 was honored to welcome District Governor Cassy Cheng for her official visit to Macao. The day was filled with meaningful exchanges, heartfelt recognition, and a renewed sense of purpose for Rotarians across the region.

From morning until late afternoon, District Governor Cassy attentively listened to presentations from the presidents and board members of eight Rotary clubs in Macao. Each club shared their achievements, ongoing projects, and future plans, highlighting the diverse and impactful work being carried out in service of the community.

In the evening, a warm and festive welcome dinner was held in honor of the District Governor. During the gathering, District Governor Cassy shared her vision and priorities for the Rotary year, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the body, mind, and spirit—a holistic approach to personal growth and community service. Her message resonated deeply with all in attendance, reminding us that true service begins with self-awareness and compassion.

A special highlight of the evening was the induction ceremony for new members from Area 1, marking the beginning of their Rotary journey. District Governor Cassy also took the opportunity to recognize and commend members who generously contributed to The Rotary Foundation, celebrating their commitment to advancing Rotary’s mission worldwide.
