Charter President Academy, for Rotary Year 2025-26, was conducted from late-September to mid-October in 4 learning sessions for 11 participants that covered various topics for Rotary Club’s establishment which included Membership, the Rotary Foundation, Public Image, Rotary Action Plan, operations inception, governance, protocol and more; these subject matters were presented by our Past Governors. In addition, several experienced Charter Presidents were invited to share journey on their club in the initial phase which provided invaluable insights for participants. Participants were given opportunities to sought wisdoms from the presenters who shared their personal views, based on their own perceptions and interpretations of incidences within their Rotary Club.
At end of each learning sessions, participants underwent group exercises to brainstorm as well as planned their ideal Rotary Club in time ahead which emphasised on methodologies from in Rotary Action plan for a Vibrant Club. Participants had to present their thoughts.
During the last learning sessions, Governor Cassy CHENG and Governor-elect Jimmy LAU shared their final words of wisdom to Charter President Academy’s participants which were greatly appreciated by all.
