Rotary Foundation Month
November is the Rotary Foundation Month. This is an annual opportunity for Rotarians and communities worldwide to celebrate the profound impact of The Rotary Foundation. As The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world, Rotarians are encouraged to donate to The Rotary Foundation, no matter your donations to endowment fund, annual fund or polio fund. Let’s support and donate. Then more meaningful projects will be launched out.
During the Foundation month, there are a number of important district foundation events at district 3450. Please see the details as below.
Foundation & Grant Management Seminar

Foundation & Grant Management Seminar will be held on 8 November 2025. Attendance of this seminar is a mandatory requirement for all Rotary Clubs to apply for Grants (including district grants, global grants, and other TRF programs) in next Rotary year (2026-27). At least one member from each club must join the Grant Management Seminar this November in order to be a qualified club for next Rotary year. This is the last opportunity to sign up before the seminar. If any queries, please feel free to contact the Subcommittee Chair under CP Sally as showed at the poster.
Intercity Meeting

In honour of Mr. Holger Knaack’s visit (the Past Rotary International President & Trustee Chair of The Rotary Foundation), Rotary District 3450 will host the Intercity Meeting on 18 December 2025 (Thursday) at the Nina Hotel, Tsuen Wan West., Hong Kong. One of the event highlights includes the recognition of The Rotary Foundation donors. Therefore, please make your donation before the Intercity, so that we can recognize you during the Meeting.
End Polio Now
Oct 24 is the World Polio Day. We all join together to raise fund and organize events to enhance the awareness of ending polio in the world. Rotary District 3450 had organized events at different places.
End Polio Charity Walk – Mongolia

Around 100 participants including Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors & their friends joined. They walked and enjoyed a happy hiking at Chingeltei mountain, a popular hiking trail at altitude 1353 meters in Mongolia.
