The first of four planned breast cancer awareness seminars was successfully held on 10^th October, 2025, and the attendance exceeded our target. The event attracted 127 participants, including 24 Rotarians from 9 different Rotary clubs across Hong Kong.

The program included a microfilm, an informative talk by a breast specialist, survivors’ stories, and a practical self-breast examination demonstration with hands-on practice on models. Feedback from the audience was very positive.

The combination of emotional connection and expert medical information created a powerful and impactful experience for all 127 attendees.

Looking forward:

The Health sub-committee will use the momentum and positive feedback to plan the remaining 3 workshops in November 2025, January 2026 and March 2026.
