RVN x Run to Your Heart – A Morning of Moving Hearts & Eye-Opening Steps!
A massive thank you to every charity runner, volunteer, and partner who made our collaborative event a resounding success! On October 5th, the Rotary Volunteer Network (RVN) joined hands with “Run to Your Home” and several heartfelt organisations to bring warmth and essential supplies to the elderly and single-parent families in Sham Shui Po.
This was more than a run; it was a profound journey into the community. Our 120 volunteer runners gained a powerful, firsthand understanding of the living realities for those in subdivided flats, making each doorstep delivery a deeply personal moment.
Your footsteps became a force for good, turning kilometres into compassion. We are confident that this experience has planted a seed— inspiring us all to do more for our community in the future.
Together, we’ve made this Mid-Autumn Festival significantly brighter for over 240 beneficiary families and elderly residents. The run may be over, but the spirit of care and the momentum for change continue. Let’s keep moving forward together!
Elderly Home Cleaning Day
In partnership with St. James’ Settlement, we are organizing a special “Elderly Home Cleaning Day” service on January 31, 2026. Our goal is to support 30 elderly residents in the Cheung Sha Wan area by helping them clean their homes and declutter, ensuring they can welcome the Chinese New Year in a fresh and comfortable environment.
To achieve this, we need the support of approximately 100 volunteers. This is a wonderful opportunity for Rotarians & Rotactors to unite with friends in lending a helping hand. Your participation will bring warmth and practical assistance to those who need it most.
Fellowship Event
Fellowship Event – Hiking, Lunch, and Afternoon Tea at PDG Andy’s House
Autumn is coming! A scenic and relaxing hike followed by a nice lunch and afternoon tea would not only be an excellent way to relax on a weekend, but also an opportunity to meet new friends who share common interests and a heart for serving the community.
- Date: 7 December 2025 (Sunday)
- Time: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Gathering Point: Junction of Clear Water Bay Road and Sheung Sze Wan Road (清⽔灣道及相思灣路交界)
- Lunch: Seafood Island, Toi O (布袋澳-海鮮島) – budget estimated to be $400 per person Afternoon Tea at PDG Andy’s House
- Time: 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
